Short Bio:
Dr. Lin Zhang is an assistant professor in the School of Energy and Environment at the City University of Hong Kong, with a joint appointment in the Department of Public Policy. With a focus on energy and sustainability economics, Dr. Zhang has published more than 20 papers in SSCI journals such as the European Economic Review, China Economic Review, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Energy Economics, Resource and Energy Economics, The Energy Journal, Energy efficiency, and Energy Policy. His research has been funded by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy, Swiss National Science Foundation, Research Grants Council of Hong Kong, European Environmental Agency, among others. Dr. Zhang holds a PhD in economics from ETH Zurich, double bachelor degrees from Peking University.
